If your instructor cancels a confirmed lesson, you'll receive a full refund to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. We'll also notify you immediately so you can find an alternative slot.

You can cancel a lesson free of charge up to 24 hours before it's due to start. Cancellations within 24 hours may not be eligible for a full refund — check your booking for the specific cancellation policy. You can manage cancellations from your My Bookings page.

Payment is taken securely via Stripe at the time of booking. Your instructor receives their share after the lesson is completed. GoatDrive never stores your card details — Stripe handles all payment processing.

Every instructor on GoatDrive holds a current ADI (Approved Driving Instructor) badge from the DVSA. We manually review all instructor applications and verify their credentials before they go live on the platform.

You can browse instructors and see availability without an account. You'll need to create a free account to book a lesson. Sign-up takes under a minute.

We launched in Edinburgh first to build quality over quantity. All EH postcodes are covered. We'll be expanding to other Scottish cities and then the rest of the UK — sign up to hear when we reach your area.

GoatDrive charges instructors a 5% commission on lessons booked and paid through the platform only — no commission on direct payments, and nothing if a lesson is cancelled or declined. There are no monthly fees or sign-up costs. Founding instructors who join early have their commission waived for the first 3 months.
